Terms of use.
The rules for using Cadre, in plain words.
Last updated 31 October 2026
Who we are
Cadre is the learning and credential platform of Lorgarithm (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Cadre you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Your account
- Give true information when you sign up, and keep your password to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account: do not share your access.
- We may disable an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk, and we will tell you why.
What you may do, and what you may not
You may learn from the lessons you have access to, practise, take checkpoints and exams, build projects, study from your own material, and earn certificates. You may not:
- resell or share your access, or the videos, quizzes, exams and other material that are ours (the lesson text and code that are open source stay yours to use under their own license);
- look for the answers to a quiz or an exam in Cadre, or help someone else to;
- probe, overload or break into Cadre, or into another person's account;
- use Cadre to break the law, or to harm or harass anyone.
Our content, and yours
The videos, quizzes, exams, software and design of Cadre belong to Lorgarithm or the people who license them to us. The text and code of the AI Engineering lessons are based on open-source work under the MIT license, which lets you use and share them under its own terms, with the credits on the Licenses & credits page. What you give Study stays yours. You allow us to read it, and to send the parts that are needed to our AI provider, only to give you what you ask for (see the Privacy policy).
The AI features
Cadre uses AI to explain ideas, to make practice and to answer questions. It can be wrong: check anything important against the lesson or a source you trust. It never gives the answers to Cadre's own quizzes, checkpoints or exams, and it is not professional advice.
Paying
Prices are shown in the currency you choose and are paid once, through Paystack. Access starts when Paystack confirms the payment and lasts as the plan says. A pack of messages is used as described when you buy it. We may change prices for future purchases; what you have already paid for does not change. See Refunds and payments.
Certificates
A certificate is issued by Lorgarithm when you meet the requirements of a program. Anyone can verify it with its code. We may revoke a certificate that was obtained dishonestly or issued by mistake. See the Credential policy and Academic integrity.
The service
We work to keep Cadre available and correct, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or free of mistakes. We may change or retire a feature, and we will say so when it touches something you paid for.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Cadre after that, you accept the new terms. Nothing here takes away a right you have by law.
